Below you will find our current projects.
This study investigated Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a fatal disease which affects a person’s motor neurons in the spinal cord, brainstem and cortex.
Researchers experimented with transplanting T-cell depleted human cord blood into a mouse model of ALS to determine the effectiveness of the cells delaying the symptoms of the disease.
This project proposes to identify, isolate and expand brain stem cells obtained from umbilical cord blood. Researchers investigated the ability of the cord blood cells to successfully differentiate into brain cells.
Cryobanks International has material transfer agreements with research departments in numerous major medical facilities and universities, pursuing technological advances relating to the use of cord blood stem cells in collaboration with these facilities.
